At The Church at Creston, we recognize young adults not as the church of tomorrow, but as a vital members of our church today. Therefore we involve teenagers with older adults in leadership at many levels both within our congregation (utilized in the worship life especially) and in outreach to the community.
Youths entering junior high are invited to begin an individual course of study through the Bible and its teachings, the church and its ministries. Upon completion, the individual is given an opportunity to confess personal faith in Christ and be welcomed into the adult communion of believers through a ceremony known as Confirmation.
Additionally we have a Youth Bible Class (7th grade – high school) that meets each Sunday morning at 10:45 am following our worship service. This Youth Group also meets together for social events, hikes, movies, etc. The youth in grades 6-9 will be heading to the "Youth Quake 2012" in Billings February 25 - 27th. They will be having a soup supper fundraiser on February 5th...."Souper Bowl Sunday. Call Youth Director Melanie Reiner with any questions or to let her know if you will be going.
